The industrial property market in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs is experiencing an increased demand for smaller light industrial space.
It has been reported that there is definitely a good demand, particularly for smaller industrial units from 150 to 300 square metres in the more sought after areas such as Montague Gardens, Killarney Gardens, Stikland, Brackenfell and the Saxenburg area in Blackheath. More enquiries are being received for such space and because good stock, in these areas, is scarce, landlords can charge a premium for the space.
The smaller warehouse space is mostly being taken up by small business owners and the larger industrial space for companies either expanding or relocating.
